The “SCRATCH” art experience @ESMoA featuring the “LA Liber Amicorum” aka Getty Blackbook, brings graffiti art into the gallery at a magnitude and scale that I have never seen before. Naturally the exhibit is attracting a lot of attention and praise and drawing in a new audience. So people have questions, they ask, ‘Are there any female graffiti writers?”
We usually keep it low key… But we can’t let the guys take all the credit! So this Saturday, for the first time ever we give u the answer

“Killerbee Wonderland” Towne & 4th Street, Skid Row, Los Angeles
LA Graffiti Artists bring “Wonderland” to Skid Row in Los Angeles, in efforts to beautify the most underserved are in the city. Feature artists include Beginus Mazimus, Bazar, Blacklight, Cale, Calmplex (Plek), Dangerbeez (Petal), Gaso, Kier, K35, Paradox, & Rayo. This collaboration of artists from all across the urban landscape is the beginning of many more projects soon to come in the Skid Row area.

Art Exhibit featuring new works by LA Graffiti Artists, Petal & Blosm. Established in the early 90’s, this dynamic duo has been beeutifying the walls of Los Angeles for decades. evolving in hand styles, pieces, blockbusters, murals, and are most well known for their signature Queen Bee (Blosm) a Renegade KillerBee (Petal) characters.
Petal and Blosm are currently working on a SAVE THE BEEZ campaign, beginning with the SWARM Exhibit this coming Saturday, to draw awareness to the current plight of the honeybee and pollinators worldwide.
